The "Free Palestine Movement" Conceals its Real Mission / DR.Rivka Shpak Lissak

The "Free Palestine Movement" Real Mission: to Eliminate the Jewish State
The FPM's web site tells us about the movement's objective:
"The FPM is a California – based 501(c )(3) nonprofit organization. We are a human rights organization, have several working groups inside and outside the U.S, are not affiliated with any other organization(s), and comply with U.S, and international law.

Our mission is to challenge Israeli policies and actions that deny Palestinians their human rights, and in particular the right of unfettered access to all of Palestine.
We adhere to the principles of non- violence in direct actions that exercise Palestinian rights in defiance of restrictions imposed by Israeli authorities. We partner
with other organizations in projects that are consistent
with our mission statement and points of unity.

Our Mission

The purpose of FPM is to defend and advocate for the human rights of all Palestinians, and in particular the right of access to all of Palestine. We propose to support these rights by defying barriers imposed by Israeli and international authorities upon travel and trade to, from and within Palestine for Palestinians and persons invited by Palestinians, such as visitors, human rights observers, humanitarian aid workers, journalists, merchants or others, and to impose pressure and sanctions upon any parties that may deny such rights".

The FPM statement is an attempt to conceal the real purpose of the organization, namely, the elimination of the Jewish state to replace it with a Palestinian state.

Facts:

Palestine – there is no such a state called Palestine. The League of Nations and the United nations, acknowledged the right of the Jewish people to return to their homeland and Israel, the Jewish state, was recognized by the UN on the so called earlier, Palestine.
The UN resolution included also an Arab (Palestinian) state besides the Jewish state, but the Arabs – Palestinians rejected the whole resolution.

They rejected 6 proposals to get a state besides Israel, between the years 1936 - 2009.

The FPM does not recognize the existence of the Jewish state and keeps calling its territory Palestine.

The statement stands in contradiction to their declaration that they "comply with international law," since the
FPM does not recognize the right of the Jewish people to self – determination and ignores the 1947 UN.

The FPM does not recognize the right of Israel to protect its sovereignty from hostile people and deny them entrance to Israel. The FPM people are hostile to Israel although they call themselves non- violent. They participate in violent demonstrations against Israeli army.

The "rights" the FPM is talking about:
"The right of access to all of Palestine".
The meaning is, support of the demand to settle the Palestinian refugees to Israel. If Palestinians are granted free entrance to Israel, millions of refugees will settle in Israel, and turn the Jews into a minority, thus putting an end to the Jewish state.

The statement does not mention or support the agreement to solve the Israeli- Palestinian conflict by a 2 state solution, signed in Oslo.

The statement ignores the agreement, in Oslo, to solve the refugee problem by negotiations.

The refugees are the descendants of Arabs who fought against the Jewish people, and killed many of them, in their effort to prevent the establishment of the Jewish state during 1947 - 1948.

Their leaders openly declared they intended to "to throw all Jews into the sea." The refugees are a danger to the future of the Jewish state, if they will be allowed "the right of access to all of Palestine," namely, Israel.

The FPM supports the Hamas goal to eliminate the state of Israel and establish a Palestinian state on its ruins.

All other parts of the statement are based on the rejection of the right of the Jewish state to defend its citizens from terrorist actions, according to international law.

Most Palestinians do not live under Israeli rule. They live under the Palestinian Authority rule.

The FPM is not a human rights organization, but a Pro –Palestinian organization dedicated to replace Israel with a Palestinian state.

The FPM is an anti – Semitic, racist organization who deny only one nation in the world the right of self – determination and ignores the historical connection of the Jewish people to their homeland whose ancient name was the Land of Israel – not Palestine.

The members of the FPM should learn the history of the country they call Palestine before assuming the wrong assumption that this has been an Arab country for generations. The name Palestine was given to the land of Judea by the Romans, in their efforts to eliminate any connection between the Jews and their homeland. It has no connection to Arabs or Muslims. The country was called after the Philistines, of Geek origin, who settled along the southern shore of Israel in the 12th century BCE.

The historical facts :

This was an Israeli- Jewish country from the 13th century BCE to the 2nd century CE. The Jewish majority was eliminated by force, by Roman imperialism.

This country became a non- Arabic Christian land, under Byzantine rule, and continued to have a Christian majority from the 4th century until the 15 century, when the Christian majority was eliminated.

In the 16th century, the population numbered, according to the Ottoman census, about 120,000 of which Muslims numbered about 80,000. The country was very densely populated.

Most of the so called Palestinians came from Arab countries as immigrant workers from about the middle of the 19th century to 1945. They came because the Zionist movement and the British Madate government developed the country and created jobs

The country was never an Arab country. It was occupied by Arabs who invaded the country from Arabia from 640 – 1099. From 1260 t0 1918 the country was occupied by Turkmens ( Mamluks and Ottomans) who conquered the country from the Christians.
