The PMW is an organization founded in 1996 to study the Palestinian society "from a broad range of perspectives" by monitoring and analyzing the Palestinian Authority through its media and schoolbooks. The PMW learns the messages that the Palestinian leaders of the PA, the Fatah and the Hamas send to the population.(From:About us, the PMW).

The may – June 2010 information on Incitement

Abu Mazen promised the U.S State Dept. on nay 2010, to work against incitement of any sort.
Abu Mazen said in his speech on Septemcer 2, 2010, that "on September 1993 a mutual recognition was sighned between us and Israel."

The finding of the PMW shows that the incitement goes on:
*The PA continues to teach on PA educational TV that Israeli cities across the entire country, including Jaffa and Haifa are Palestinian cities.
*The official media deny Israel's right to exist
*The Israeli- Palestinian conflict is defined by the PA political and religious leaders not as territorial, but a religious war for Allah.
* T he PA senior religious leader demonizes Jews as the "enemies of God."
* The PA continues to honor terrorists.
* The PA – Fatah leader defends "the right to return to armed conflict."
* PA – Fatah leader explains negotiations as "a tactical decision, i.e, a temporary, defensive decision.

The Report
1. PA does not recognize Israel's existence and works to its delegitimazation:
Evidence:
The PA refers to Israel with numerous euphemisms that deny Israel's Legitimacy and existence:
"Interior Palestine"
"occupied in 1948 "
"1948 territories"

Najat Abu Bakr, member of the Palestinian Parliament, the Fatah movement, said on the PA TV ON June 1, 2010:
"I am certain that the state of Israel – this entity which the world implanted in our body, in our bones, in our history – this (Gaza flotilla incident) is the beginning of the end of this oppressive entity."

Evidence:
Israel does not exist on the PA maps. Instead, Israel's territory is defined as "Palestinian Territory."

2. The Conflict with Israel is a religious war and the Jews are God's Enemies
Evidence:
PA Mufti, Sheikh Muhammad Hussein said in sermon at Al – Aqsa Mosque on June 26 2010:
"Oh Muslims, Oh people of Ribat (religious war),…Safeguard the unity of our people, safeguard the unity of your Islam, so that you will be worthy to carry out the Ribat in this land ."

Evidence:
" the Jew who is the enemy to be fought, not other Arabs" (Al – Hayat Al Jadida, Fatah newspaper,June 5, 2010)

Evidence:
The PA Mufti said in a sermon at Al Aqsa on June 26, 2010:
"The Al Aqsa Mosque is threatened by the plans of the enemies of Allah (the Jews ), who have violated all faith and religious laws, and even deviated from their humanity."

3. PA denies Israel's history in order to deny Israel's right to exist

Evidence:
Former PA Prime Minister,Ahmed Quarei, Abu Alaa said on June 23, 2010:
"Israel (continues) to erase Palestinian existence in Jerusalem, to melt the Palestinian, Arabic and Muslim Jerusalem characteristics, and to color them with artificial Jewish Talmudic Symbols."
( he claims Jerusalem was never Jewish)

Evidence:
The PA Mufti warned on June 14, 2010 that:
"The Mufti warned of implementation of the plans for Judaization of the Al – Buraq Wall (the Western Wall), aimed at turning it into a center for the Jewish nation."
(he claims the Western Wall was never Jewish )

Evidence:
The official PA daily congratulated Helen Thomas on June 10, 2010 for calling the Jews of Israel to return to Germany:
"The old lady in the White House said:"The Jews should get out of the lands of Palestine and go back to where they came from. It is occupied land that belongs to the Palestinians it's not the land of the Germans or Poles. They must go back to their homes in Poland, Germany, America and where else."
(The PA denies any historical connection of the Jewish people to the Holy Land)

To conclude:
The PA speaks in 2 voices: they say in Arabic what they really think, and tell in English what the world wants to hear.
In fact, they never recognized Israel's right to exist, they deny any historical connection of the Jewish people to the Holy Land, they consider Jews the enemies of God.
