Seventy years ago, May 1940, was just about the darkest moment ever for the democratic world. Germany was overrunning France, Belgium, Luxemburg, and the Netherlands. Nazi Germany and the Communist USSR were allied. Britain was scrambling to pull out as many men as possible from Dunkirk and an invasion of Britain seemed imminent.

The Declared Objectives of the Palestinian Authority

The Palestinians celebrated on September 208, 2010 the tenth anniversary of al-Aqsa Intifada, known as the war of terror launched against Israel after MK Ariel Sharon visited the Temple Mount in the Old City of Jerusalem. The debate in Israel regarding the question who initiated the Intifada is not yet over. Some analysts and commentators believe that the Intifada was a spontaneous burst of popular rage against Israel and not a premeditated attack made by Yasser Atafat, the chairman at that time of the Palestinian Authority, and the leader of the PLO and Fatah movement.

Christian anti-Semitism began much later than Jesus' life. In the gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke, which are the historically more reliable ones, Jesus views himself as a messenger of God to the Jews and as a member of the Jewish people.
The New Testament has several anti-Semitic elements in its chronologically latest documents. The Gospel of John has Jesus call the Jews "sons of the devil." There is also a case of an anti-Jewish outburst by the Apostle Paul.

A. History

The Palestinian "narrativ" tells the Holy Land was an Arabic Land from time immemorial, that the Jews invented their connection to this land, that they are European colonialists who robed Arab land, expelled its peaceful ancient inhabitants and turned them into refugees.

The Palestinian "narrative" is an effort to rewrite history in order to eliminate the Jewish state, Israel. The facts of history are entirely different.

In August 1929, wild rumors that Jews had attacked Arabs, cursed the name of Islam’s founder, and were about to seize the Temple Mount led to inflammatory sermons in mosques, followed by massive Arab riots. More than 105 Jews were killed by Arabs; not a single Arab was killed by a Jew.

The exact same thing happened—albeit with far fewer casualties—in 1996, 2000, 2009, and at several points in between. The pattern tells a great deal about why the conflict doesn’t end and in fact stays a great deal the same.
