The Turkish government has produced a series of indictments against IDF officers which include charges of murder punishable by life sentences. This over the Mavi Marmara affair, that being the name of the ship which carried a Turkish and international terrorist contingents bent on joining hands with the Gaza Hamas terrorist organization.

Every year, on the day Israeli – Jews celebrate Israel's Independence Day, Arab – Israeli leaders organize a Nakba demonstration, under the slogan that Israeli Arabs and Palestinian refugees are victims of Israel's policy of "ethnic cleansing."

People around the world who are not familiar with the history of the Arab – Jewish conflict from 1917 to 1948, accept the "Invented history" by Palestinians as historical fact and accuse Israel for its treatment of Palestinian – Arabs.

Historical facts, however, are entirely different.

The Palestinians and their backers have long resorted to diplomatic war in order to undermine Israel's legitimacy. The Global March to Jerusalem, scheduled for March 30, is a classic example of this tactic. The organisers claim they are seeking "freedom for Jerusalem" and an "end to the Apartheid, ethnic cleansing and Judaisation" affecting the city.

UNRWA is not there to settle the refugees, it is there not to settle the refugees. The UN now counts as "refugees" entire generations, furious that their ancestors started a war that they then lost, and are now asking to be rewarded diplomatically with what they were unable to seize militarily.

Because it is now almost axiomatic for American school textbooks to whitewash all things Islamic (see here for example), it may be useful to examine one of those aspects that are regularly distorted: the Muslim conquests.

Few events of history are so well documented and attested to as are these conquests, which commenced soon after the death of the Muslim prophet Muhammad (632) and tapered off circa 750. Large swathes of the Old World—from the India in the east, to Spain in the west—were conquered and consolidated by the sword of Islam during this time.

What is apartheid
Apartheid is the South African term for racial segregation. The term used in the United States is racial segregation. Both terms represent racial regimes of racism and political, social and economical separation between white and black citizens of the same state.

In the voluminous commentaries on the Middle East today very little attention has been given to the sad fate of Christians in the Arab and Muslim countries. Even less attention has been paid to the contrast between the treatment of Christians in Israel and their treatment in Arab countries.

Yesterday marked the third anniversary of the notorious UN Human Rights Council session that created the Goldstone Report, a 500-page document that excoriated Israel—for defending itself from deadly rockets—while exonerating Hamas.

The core charges of the report—that Israel's leadership intentionally plotted to murder Palestinian civilians, and did so from racist motives—were famously retracted by Judge Goldstone in op-eds published last year in the Washington Post and the New York Times.

Newt Gingrich’s leaked comments which describe Palestinian identity as ‘invented’ have a profound importance in the Middle East conflict and these remarks have to be challenged.

One of the reasons that the Gingrich view has to be confronted is that when Jewish peoplehood is questioned by the Palestinians and their cheerleaders on the Left, Muslims and Arabs remain silent in tacit agreement. The Palestinians’ outrage at Gingrich’s remarks are, therefore, hypocritical.

The suffering of Jewish refugees from Arab countries must be acknowledged, compensated for their losses.
While serving as a Canadian delegate to the annual inter-parliamentary hearing at the United Nations, I came across an exhibit marking the annual International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People. The central theme of the exhibit is the Nakba – catastrophe – suffered by the Palestinian people, due to the establishment of the State of Israel.
